Which canon character would you start writing for?

I love "Homeland" and am a bit obsessed with Peter Quinn. There's something about that character that intrigues me because, just when I think I have him figured out, he surprises me. Not to mention he's such a badass. I think it would be a great challenge to try and get inside that head. (And he probably could actually save the world if he had to.)

Which original one would you create?

I have a NPC that's been part of [personal profile] will_porter's world for a really long time. She started out as his assistant when he worked in the banking industry, but has pretty much become his Girl Friday and go to person whenever he needs something done. She's always mentioned in passing, but sometimes I just want to give her her own voice to see exactly how she would interact with Will. She's long suffering and loyal. That could be fun to do.

Which old character would you revive?

For a canon character, I would love to bring back Shy ([personal profile] shyguy)from the movie "Haven." It was nice to have a free spirit who was without guile but who also had some demons he was fighting. As for an OC, I've been thinking about reviving my pretty boy vamp/actor [personal profile] bre_skin. I had gotten into RP with him a while back and then it faded when my RP partner ran into some difficulty. I'd like to bring him back on his own, though, and see what trouble he gets into.

If you had to (to save the world perhaps! or if someone twisted your arm a little!) --

Which canon character would you start writing for?

Which original one would you create?

Which old character would you revive?

Why?

Bonus points: So what's stopping you? Do one of the above!

Which canon character would you start writing for?
I have a Carla Valeri from Transporter: The Series, [personal profile] carlavaleri. My first canon character and I'm super-nervous with her even a month later. But she saw all the Franks out there and insisted that they needed her, so...

Which original one would you create?
Danielle falls into that category. I made her up because a friend wanted to play a certain muse and needed someone to play off of. I had a general idea of what would go well with that character, now I'm just trying to figure out what would make her come alive for me.

I had this cracky idea of her somehow getting mixed up in Prison Break canon, but I think that's just because I binge watched the show a few weeks ago and besides, if she ran into a Whistler that would be a supremely weird moment.

Which old character would you revive?
I only have three, and all of them tend to come and go depending on RP. I'd say Carla is the one I'd like to do more with because she has current canon (even if she's not in it). She likes to comment about every episode like clockwork every Saturday.

Which canon character would you start writing for?
I would pick Rumpelstiltskin from Once Upon a Time because I really hate the direction the show has taken with his character this season.

Which original one would you create?
I would like to create a character someday who has autism or ptsd, to write about issues I myself have and explore them in a character.

Which old character would you revive?
I would revive my rougaru http://deliagone.livejournal.com/ and port her to DW. I feel like I didn't get to finish telling her story before the people I was playing her with buggered off, so hopefully I could work on her again someday.

What's stopping me at the moment - one, I have a hard time playing canon characters. I just feel a lot more comfortable with my own worlds. I worry I would miss some important detail of a world that someone else created. Two, I don't want to make a character that's too self-inserty so I worry about making one with the issues I have. Three, primarily laziness in making a new journal and also not knowing if I could find a place to fit a Lousiana bayou girl in - or if I should just stick to prompts. But I will likely do the revival and move her over eventually. The other two are just speculation.
