When I was a rookie, the first person to introduce himself was Scott. I had heard of him, obviously, and admired what he'd accomplished. But I found a tremendous amount of respect for him off track. Being asked to drive alongside him at Daytona must be one of the highlights of my career, and I'll never forget how he had to explain to me what a Waffle House is either. And I still admire him today, still say hi when we pass every weekend. We're enemies now, on opposite sides of IndyCar's biggest rivalry, but our friendship will never die.
